Sessions and security

See where you're signed in, sign out any device you don't recognize, and connect Google or Apple for one-click sign-in.

A session is one signed-in browser or device. Every time you sign in somewhere new — a laptop, a phone, a different browser — Nabu opens a session for it. The Sessions page lists them all so you can keep your account yours.

See your active sessions

  1. Open Settings (the Settings button, top right of the dashboard).
  2. In the Settings sidebar, under Account, click Sessions.

You'll see a card for each device that's currently signed in. The one you're using right now is marked Current.

Sign out a device you don't recognize

If you spot a session you don't recognize — an old phone, a shared computer, anything that isn't you:

  1. Find that session's card.
  2. Click its Revoke button.
  3. Confirm when Nabu asks (Revoke session on "<device>"? They will be signed out.).

That device is signed out immediately and has to sign in again to come back.

Tip: Want to clear everything except where you're sitting? Click Revoke All Others at the top of the page and confirm. Every other device gets signed out in one step — handy if you're not sure what's out there.

Sign out of this browser

To sign out of the device you're on right now, use the Sign out button on the Current Session card.

Sign-in methods

Below your device list you may see a Sign-In Methods card (it appears when Google or Apple sign-in is available). It shows how you're signed in right now, and lets you connect Google or Apple to your account so future sign-ins with that account land in the same workspace — one click instead of an email link. Providers you've already connected show a Connected badge with the linked address and date.

What each control does

  • Revoke — signs out that one device. It can't sign back in until someone enters your sign-in link or code again.
  • Revoke All Others — signs out every device except the one you're using now.
  • Sign out (Current Session) — signs you out of this browser.

Good to know

  • You can't revoke your current session. The Current card has no Revoke button — that would just sign you out of the page you're on, which is what the Sign out button is for.
  • Revoking is instant. The device is signed out the moment you confirm; there's no waiting period.
  • Nabu uses no passwords. You sign in with a one-time link or 6-digit code sent to your email, so "signing a device out" simply ends its session — there's no password to change. See Signing in for how sign-in works.
